Keep ADS Active by Preventing your Computer from Sleeping

In order for the loading process to run smoothly, we recommend you prevent your computer from sleeping. Disclaimer: The following steps apply to Aero Data Server (ADS) on Windows. Instructions will vary for ADS on macOS.

Step 1: Open Advanced Power Settings

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Select Hardware and Sound.
3. Select Power Options.
4. Click on Change plan settings.
5. Click on Change advanced power settings.

Step 2: Change Sleep Settings

1. Expand Sleep.
2. Expand Sleep after and Hibernate after.
3. Set the On battery setting to Never.
4. Set the Plugged in setting to Never.
5. Click Apply when done to apply the changes, then click OK.
